Indianapolis 500 Starting Lineup Set

McLaughlin Earns Pole, Larson to Start Fifth

The starting lineup for the 2024 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge has been officially set after two days of qualifying. Scott McLaughlin of Team Penske will start from the pole position, while Kyle Larson of Chip Ganassi Racing will start fifth.

Larson, who will attempt to become just the fifth driver to race in both the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day, will start fifth in the 2024 Indy 500. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 12:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 26.
