Hamburg to Host Matches in UEFA EURO 2024
Five Matches Scheduled for Volksparkstadion
Games to Feature Poland, Netherlands, Georgia, and Czech Republic
Hamburg, Germany, will host five matches during the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament, set to take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches will be played at the Volksparkstadion, home to the Hamburger SV football club.
The confirmed matches include:
- June 16, 2024: Poland vs. Netherlands
- June 19, 2024: Georgia vs. Czechia
- Quarterfinal: Date and opponents to be determined
The Volksparkstadion is one of Germany's most modern stadiums and has a capacity of approximately 40,000 spectators.
Hamburg is one of ten German cities selected to host matches during the tournament. The city previously hosted matches during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Tickets for the Hamburg matches will go on sale in 2023. Fans can register for ticket information at the UEFA website.
