Aurélie Rivard Wins Bronze in Swimming at the Paralympics

Canadian Paralympic swimmer Aurélie Rivard has earned a bronze medal in the women's 50-meter freestyle S10 event at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Rivard, who has won multiple medals at previous Paralympic Games, finished third in the race with a time of 27.31 seconds.

The gold medal went to Bianka Pap of Hungary, who set a new world record with a time of 26.89 seconds.

The silver medal went to Lisa Kruger of the Netherlands with a time of 27.29 seconds.

This is Rivard's second medal at the Tokyo Paralympics. She also won a bronze medal in the women’s 100-meter backstroke S10 event.

Rivard's accomplishments are inspiring people with disabilities around the world and show how anything is possible with determination and hard work.
